1. The Tea Room at the Duchess

Do you have something to celebrate? Then the elegant high tea at The Duchess in the W Hotel in Amsterdam is a great choice.

Here you can enjoy all kinds of delicacies during a delicious afternoon tea: sweet macarons, fresh scones, all kinds of pastries and savory dishes. Of course all combined with delicious tea blends. And don’t forget about that bottle of champagne!

2. L’Europe

At L’Europe you can get acquainted with the typical Dutch ‘gezelligheid’. There’s no good translation for this word, but “cosyness” comes pretty close!

The signature “So Dutch” Afternoon tea consists of three courses with typical Dutch ingredients. The dishes are served with premium tea in various flavors.

3. De Bakkerswinkel

At the Bakkerswinkel in Amsterdam you can choose from four different high teas: the ‘Bakery Sweets Tea’, ‘Late Afternoon Tea’, ‘Old Bakery High Tea’ and the ‘Summer Time Tea’.

All high teas consist of scones with jam and clotted cream, curds, various cakes, friandise and a large pot of tea. With the ‘Late Afternoon Tea’ you also get a soup, quiche, finger sandwiches and a glass of wine, soft drink or orange juice.

5. De Drie Graefjes

From a simple high tea with scones, jam and clotted cream to a luxurious high tea with mini sandwiches, soup, vegetarian quiche and a glass of prosecco. With every possible high tea at De Drie Graefjes, you can enjoy unlimited tea with a choice from their Pickwick Slow Tea range.

6. Majesteit Taart

At the Javastraat in Amsterdam you can find the tea room of Majesteit Taart. Here they have a wide range of cakes, cupcakes, macarons and other pastries. If you want to try all of them, you should definitely try their afternoon tea.

Choose from ‘Afternoon Tea’ with scones, various cakes, savory snacks and a pot of tea or pay a little more for the ‘Luxury High Tea’ and also receive alcohol-free champagne and a bit more snacks.

For a very special High Tea you have to go to Waldorf Astoria. Here you can enjoy a fancy afternoon tea in the Peacock Alley between 3PM and 5PM every day.

Just like the seasons, the theme of the afternoon tea changes once every three months. This way you can enjoy the ‘Winter Afternoon Tea’ in winter and the ‘Summer Afternoon Tea’ in summer.

Are you looking for a delicious vegan high tea? Then Beter & Leuk is the right hotspot for you! You can choose from two different options: the ‘Vegan High Tea’ and the ‘Healthy Vegan High Tea’.

At the Vegan High Tea you get sandwiches with whole wheat, salad and soup of the day, carrot cake, scones and a homemade cake and tea of your choice. The ‘Healthy Vegan High Tea’ consists of salad and soup of the day, a savory surprise, a selection of the healthy sweets without refined sugars and tea of your choice.

So both are very tasty! Highly recommended.

10. Stan & Co

Time for Stan & Tea! Drink unlimited tea and enjoy sweet and savory treats…

At Stan & Co you get three courses during the high tea. Firstly all kinds of sweets and sandwiches, such as mini donuts, macarons, sticky toffee pie and ‘sandwich lolly salmon’. The second course includes yakitori skewers, mini buns and vegetable croquettes. Last, but not least, the final round consists of a mini profiterol, yogurt raspberry shot and a mini Portuguese pudding tart.

At Café Americain you can choose from three different high teas: the ‘regular’ High Tea, the ‘High Tea Royale’ and the ‘High Tea DeLuxe’.

The High Tea consists of cold dishes such as finger sandwiches, various types of pralines, macarons, scones and hot dishes including a soup and Kip Paillard.

At the ‘DeLuxe High Tea’ and ‘High Tea Royale’ you get the same dishes, with the ‘DeLuxe’ you also receive a glass of Pommery Champagne per person and with the ‘High Tea Royale’ a “Holy Smoke” Cocktail.

14. Mozo

At Mozo you can enjoy a Moroccan High Tea with traditional Moroccan savory snacks and sweet treats. This is possible every Saturday and Sunday in the afternoon in their amazing Moroccan room.

Traditional Moroccan pies filled with fish and seafood, tuna pies, homemade shrimp croquettes, three types of Moroccan almond baklava, and large dates dipped in chocolate… All that delicious food in combination with chai tea and unlimited Moroccan green tea with mint and orange blossom water.
