We start this article off well: De Sushimeisjes! That they are # 1 on Tripadvisor is not without reason, because what started small in their own kitchen has grown into two successful businesses.
Here you can order the tastiest classics, rolls with a twist and even vegan sushi. Prefer to eat at home? Delivery or take-away is also possible!

2. Encore by Simonis
At the harbor in Scheveningen you will find Encore by Simonis. Simonis is already a household name in The Hague and the surrounding area, and Encore (and Catch!) By Simonis is also a place for which people travel a few miles.
The interior is super fancy, the view of the harbor is great and the food … Well, it’s something you just have to try. For example their delicious Spicy Tuna Maki, Shrimp Tempura Maki and their own Encore Maki with king crab, salmon, avocado, jalapeño and miso honey sauce.
And while you’re there: try some other side dishes (and a dessert, because hello Chocolate Explosion), as they will definitely complete your meal.

3. Noh Sushi Bar
Noh Sushi Bar can be found on the Prinsestraat and the menu is full of delicious sushi rolls, tempura, larger dishes and desserts. Also nice: order one of their large sushi mixes for at home!

4. ONI Japanese Dining
A special sushi restaurant is ONI, which you immediately understand once you step inside. The coloured lighting and the sleek sofas give the store a minimalist, cool look.
On the menu? Everything you can expect at a sushi restaurant. Sushi, sashimi, tempura or deliciously adventurous: the chef’s surprise menu.

5. Catch by Simonis
Slightly less exuberant than Encore is Catch by Simonis. But sitting there a bit more relaxed may mean that you can enjoy the food more, right? Order the classic California Maki, the Crispy Nigiri or the Catch Maki, with lobster, salmon, jalapeño and yuzu miso.
As with Encore, the dress code ‘smart elegant’ applies here. This means no shorts, tank tops, flip flops or baseball caps for the men and no sportswear for all guests.

6. Momiji Sushi
You can eat the delicious fresh sushi of Momiji in the center of The Hague, but you can also order it at home. A quick look at the menu for home delivery, will make you very happy. With their small, medium, large or mega box your evening and stomach will be well filled.

8. Kiraku
Kiraku is a real sushi bar, which means that there are fewer seats than you might be used to from a restaurant. However, this makes the experience extra fun if you ask us!
